Our Deshi Street Story

Deshi Street Food was born from a simple, deeply felt longing — the craving for the real flavors of Bangladesh that no restaurant in Virginia could quite capture.

Our founders grew up eating fuchka from roadside carts in Dhaka, sipping strong deshi cha in the rain, and sharing plates of chatpoti with family after school. When they arrived in the DMV area, they brought those memories with them.

What started as cooking for friends and family gatherings in Sterling quickly became something bigger. Community events became impromptu pop-ups. The message was clear — the DMV needed authentic Bangladeshi street food.

We source our spices directly from Bangladesh, use traditional family recipes passed down through generations, and prepare everything fresh every single day. Nothing from a packet. Everything from the heart.
